Lead Early Childhood Educator

The Early Childhood Educator at New Amsterdam School is responsible for creating a warm, supportive atmosphere for our students. They will lead in the caretaking and development of age appropriate curriculum consistent with Waldorf Early Childhood Education methods and practices for children ages 2 years - 4 years. At New Amsterdam School, our teachers are invited to bring their individual interests, strengths and vision of early childhood education to their work.

Substitute Teacher: Early Childhood

Join our warm and supportive community as a substitute teacher for our early childhood classrooms. Classes are no more than 12 students from 2 to 6 years old. Our morning program runs from 8:30am to 1:00pm and our afternoon program runs from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.

The ideal candidate will have Waldorf and classroom experience. We are looking for teachers that are able to enliven our students with the beauty of the natural world, while providing a healthy, nurturing, creative, and respectful environment for each child.
