Seedlings
For children Birth-24 months and their caregivers
About our Seedlings Program
We are excited to welcome families to our caregiver-child program with group classes that support the healthy physical, social, and emotional development of young children. Seedlings classes nurture both caregivers and children, and are a warm welcome to Waldorf education. Weekly classes incorporate activities specially designed for infants and toddlers, such as games, songs, finger-plays, and occasional baking, and also include time for conversation and parenting support.
Daily Rhythm
9:00am - Arrival & Free Play
9:30am - Meal Time
9:45am - Circle Time
10:00am - Goodbye Time
Our modern approach to Waldorf education inspires reverence for the natural world, for one’s self, and for others, while building foundational practical, social, and cognitive skills. In our Seedlings classes, children thrive in self-directed play, gentle music & movement, and a calm and predictable rhythm. They freely explore the world around them, developing fine and gross motor skills, social skills, and self-knowledge that lay the groundwork for future social and academic success.
