Hands On: Clay
Hands On: Clay
Explore the art of clay through a Waldorf and child-development perspective in this hands-on workshop.
Over the course of 90 minutes, we will slow down and build relationships with the material, with our children, and with ourselves.
This is an opportunity for caregivers and children to work side by side while being gently guided in hand building pottery techniques.
The workshop is designed for children ages 3+, accompanied by a caring adult. Families interested in bringing an additional older child are welcome to contact us.
The workshop cost includes instruction for one adult/child, all materials, beautifully finished and fired ceramic pieces, and a light snack/refreshment.
All proceeds are a full donation to New Amsterdam School.
Finished pieces will be fired, glazed, and ready for pickup in 2-3 weeks.
Lead by Jacy Ceccarelli, Genivive O’Brian, and Dr. Anke Scheinfeld
